Welcome to Geminé, a bespoke jewelry atelier. By engaging in our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which govern the creation of personalized jewelry pieces. These terms are designed to ensure a clear understanding and smooth collaboration throughout the entire process.

Services:
Geminé specializes in crafting bespoke, luxury jewelry for our clients. We work closely with each client to personalize their jewelry & ensure that we tailor perfectly to their inspirations & demands for their pieces; each piece is designed to tell a story narrated by our clients.

Geminé does not produce or sell any jewelry or property by other jewelry brands. We also do not offer customization or modification services to existing branded jewelry. To legitimately place an order, you must do the following:

1. Be of age 18 or over.
2. Have a concept or idea for bespoke jewelry which you would like us to bring to reality through our craftsmanship.
3. Provide us with the contact information on this website’s “Make a Request” page, or contact us through twitter.

If you are not able to fulfill the above requirements, your order will unfortunately be rejected. Once an order inquiry is accepted, our process is as follows:

1. Initial Consultation: The journey begins with a conversation to understand your ideas and inspirations.
2. Sketch Creation: Our designers craft preliminary sketches that capture the essence of your vision, blending artistic flair and technical precision.
3. Craftsmanship: Each project is unique, created from a vision, emotion, story, or treasured moment. Our artisans work closely with you, collecting the finest details to bring your personalized piece to life.

Requests & Orders
You may send any and all order requests to the Geminé twitter account via direct message, or by fulfilling the “Make a Request” form on the Geminé website.

Within 24 hours of receiving this inquiry, our team will reach out via your preferred method of contact to confirm our receival of your request. This is not a confirmation of our acceptance of your request, but an acknowledgement of your inquiry.

A confirmation message will follow after Geminé’s internal analysis of the order specifications and our capacity at the time. This will be communicated to you within 5 working days. The standard production time for each order, from the finalization of the conceptual sketch until final shipment, is roughly 6 weeks.

Pricing
Given the bespoke nature of our services, and the fact that each piece is highly individualized and tailored to each customer’s unique requests, prices are quoted on an order by order basis. Pricing is dependent on a variety of factors, such as the nature of your request, the dimensions and weights of your jewelry piece, as well as the specifications of metals, diamonds & color stones requested by the customer.

We work diligently with each customer to ensure their needs are communicated and reflected in the final outcome of their piece, allowing them to be certain that our design choices align well with their creation’s final pricing.

Although we cover shipping to most regions, as described in Our Policies, some countries may be subject to additional charges (duties, taxes). The Client is responsible for paying VAT to the tax authorities in his country of residence, along with any additional taxes and charges.

Payment
Payments issued by Geminé are issued in 3 stages:

1. The equivalent of .0015 BTC is charged for the creation of an initial sketch for the customer. This marks the beginning of an order; for each sketch, the client is allowed 3 iterations to ensure our end design meets their needs perfectly. It must be noted that this sketch deposit is non-refundable if the client does not choose to place an order, however, if the order is placed, this deposit will carry over to the final payment total.
2. Once the sketch design is finalized, a deposit of 50% is required in order to begin our production process.
3. When production is complete, the piece has been reviewed with our client, and Geminé is ready to ship the piece out, the remainder of the payment is to be paid.

Deadlines
The deadlines for the performance of the services and the provision of services indicated at the time of the order are as accurate as possible. The fact that the deadline is exceeded may not give rise to damages, deductions or the cancellation of pending orders.By accepting these T&Cs, you waive the right to claim compensation for any material or immaterial damage that may result from a delay in the announced deadlines.

Warranties & Liabilities
Geminé will personalize your jewelry & create bespoke pieces at your request. The quality standards for all diamonds & color stones will strictly remain constant; under no circumstances will quality be compromised. At various stages of production, & final quality assurance, metal purities will be strictly tested to ensure that they are as indicated to our clients.

Geminé strictly guarantees our clients that the quality of our craftsmanship & fine jewelry is strictly in line with the highest standards in the jewelry industry, & that these quality standards will be maintained and never compromised. To ensure this, quality control is performed through every stage of the production process, all the way from metal casting until final polishing. Additionally, a final test of quality assurance & durability is performed to ensure that the jewelry maintains these quality standards at the end of production, & that the piece is ready for our end client.

Exclusion of Liability
Geminé expressly excludes any liability to you or third parties for any use of your jewelry, other than for your own personal use and for strictly private purposes, that is contrary to the law or any applicable regulations. Geminé excludes any liability arising from the violation of any rights which the manufacturer of the jewelry may assert in connection with the jewelry in Thailand, UAE, or abroad, in particular in the event that the jewelry may no longer be used for any reason (in particular in the event of confiscation) as a result of such violation.

This exclusion of liability shall apply in particular in the event of an offer to resell or resale of the jewelry to a third party, Geminé also reserving the right to claim compensation for any loss that Geminé may suffer in this context. It is agreed between the Parties that this exclusion of liability of Geminé has in particular the consequence that the price of the services provided by Geminé is not refundable.

Intellectual Property
The brand names of the products mentioned on the Site are trademarks owned exclusively by third party companies. Any mention of the names or brands of these companies is for reference purposes only.

Geminé assists its Customers in the creation of custom, bespoke jewelry. All intellectual property rights relating to the creation of jewelry by Geminé, including the processes, the ideas and concepts proposed and developed by Geminé for its clients in connection with its Services are protected by intellectual property law (including trade secret law and copyright law) and remain the exclusive property of Geminé.

After-Sales Services
Maintenance on the jewelry such as re-polishing can be carried out at any jeweler near you. These services will not be expensive & we will work with our clients to locate the most trusted service centers near them. If requested, our clients can always send back their pieces for us to polish & clean for them, however, this will be at their own cost.

In case of any damage/issues upon receival of our jewelry, we allow our clients a two week window for any concerns regarding product quality to be communicated with us. Given the issues are legitimate & reasonable, we will work with clients to repair and/or amend any issues they have.For further requests & assistance on this matter, as well as for information on self-care and maintenance of jewelry at home, please contact us via any of the methods listed at the bottom of this page.

Appliable Law & Jurisdiction
The T&Cs are presented on the Site in English. The GTCs are governed by UAE law, without regard to the principles of conflict of laws. In the event of a dispute concerning the interpretation, execution or termination of the T&Cs, we encourage you as a matter of priority to contact us with a view to resolving the dispute amicably via any of the methods listed at the bottom of this page.

If the dispute cannot be settled amicably, you agree with us to bring the dispute before the Federal Supreme Court in the UAE.

Modifications
Geminé reserves the right to make changes, revisions, corrections and/or improvements to the content of the Site, including all the terms and conditions governing the Site, as well as these T&Cs, at any time without notice, but may not be held liable for them. You agree to all revisions of the Terms and Conditions and T&Cs and we invite you to visit this page and associated pages periodically to review the Terms and T&Cs that apply to your orders.
